Make A Splash With Dazzler
Dave Chadwick introduces the second part of his multimedia authoring series.
Our second tutorial exploring the features of Dazzler 3.1, the multimedia authoring software
included on issue 140Æs SuperCD, explains how to add interaction to a presentation using
hotspots and branching. In the magazine, and the ScreenCam movies included on this SuperCD, we show you how to build the main screen for the application we started to create in last month's issue.
To Copy the Dazzler tutorial files to your disk.
If you havenÆt been following the series so far, or you were confused by any of
the features described last month, then run our first ScreenCam tutorial which
covers some of the same ground. While Dazzler is a fairly simple program to use,
it does have its own idiosyncrasies that can be confusing.
Although, so far, we have only created a simple presentation that
provides more interactivity than a typical slideshow, next month we will use these techniques,
and some new ones, to produce something more creative.
